A purpose of the undertaken research was: to draw a detailed contour and geomorphological map of the reserve, to describe the morphological features of individual landforms and genetic interpretation of these forms and relief evolution on the background of geomorphological units of higher rank. Main morphogenetic processes were identified: erosional and accumulative influence of the Pleistocene ice sheet, Holocene erosion-denudational system and probably meteorite fall. In the recent century strong human influence on the earth surface is noticeable. Beata Messyasz Fitoplankton zbiorników wodnych położonych na terenie rezerwatu przyrody "Meteoryt Morasko" Phytoplankton of the ponds in the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve Abstract. 75 taxa of the phytoplanktonic algae were recorded during studies in six ponds of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve in Poznań. Bacillariophyceae, Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyta were the dominating taxonomic groups. Biomass of phytoplankton was relatively high. Quantitative and qualitative structure is presented. The paper presents a list of 175 species of macromycetes, mainly Agaricales, found in one vegetational season of 1994 in the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve in Poznań. Mycological observations were carried out mainly on 9 permanent plots, sporadically in the whole area of the reserve, in various forest communities. On the basis of the present and previous lichens flora, the changes in the state of the environment of this area are estimated. The bryophyte communities have been studied in the "Meteoryt Morasko" reserve in Poznań, according to the Braun-Blanquet method of phytosociology. 12 types of phytocoenoses have been distinguished: 1 terrestrial community and 11 epiphytic and epixylic ones. The evaluation of the reserve was estimated on the basis of floristic analysis and comparison with the flora of Poznań. The aim of the work was to determine the intensity and direction of natural changes in the populations of trees and shrubs of the "Meteoryt Morasko" reserve. It may be assumed, that the natural regeneration processes of the flora shall result in decrease or even extinction of most of geographically and ecologically alien species. On the other hand, the domination of native species belonging to oak-hornbeam communities shall be consolidated. Rafał Bernard Ważki (Odonata) rezerwatu "Meteoryt Morasko" w Poznaniu Dragonflies (Odonata) of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve in Poznań Abstract. 32 dragonfly species were found during the studies in the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve, the allochthonous Sympetrum fonscolombei is the rarest of them in Poland. The species composition is described and comments on phenological aspects, zoogeographical elements and ecological groups are included. Lech Buchholz Przyczynek do poznania chrząszczy sprężykowatych (Coleoptera: Elateridae) Góry Moraskiej w Poznaniu Contribution to the knowledge about Elateridae of the Góra Moraska (Moraska Hill) in Poznań Abstract. The results of preliminary inventory studies on Elateridae of the Góra Moraska are given. 19 species were recorded including 5 saproxylobiontic. The small number of species (especially saproxylobiontic) may be a results of anthropogenic changes of the forest ecosystems. Taking this into consideration, a restoration of natural developmental and fluctuational phases of forest would be beneficial. Marek Bąkowski Motyle dzienne (Lepidoptera, Rhopalocera) rezerwatu "Meteoryt Morasko" Butterflies (Lepidoptera, Rhopalocera) of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve Abstract. In the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve (Poznań) 44 species of the "diurnal" butterflies (Rhopalocera) have been found. The investigations of 6 ponds situated in the area of "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve were carried out in the summer of 1994. Physicochemical conditions of water are given and ichthyofauna is briefly characterized. Albin Pawłowski Herpetofauna rezerwatu "Meteoryt Morasko" w Poznaniu Amphibians and reptiles of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve in Poznań Abstract. Amphibians and occasionally reptiles of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve were studied from mid-1993 to the autumn of 1994. 11 taxa of amphibians and 3 of reptiles were found at the study area. The species composition and the estimated number of individuals of particular taxa were established. Lechosław Kuczyński, Tomasz S. Osiejuk Waloryzacja ornitologiczna rezerwatu "Meteoryt Morasko" Ornithological evaluation of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve Abstract. The aim of the study was to evaluate the ornithological value of the reserve. We found out that there was only 41 breeding species and the density was 86 pairs per 10 ha. The most valuable parts of the reserve were situated in the northern and southern parts. Tadeusz Kałuża, Joanna Ziomek Ssaki (Mammalia) rezerwatu "Meteoryt Morasko" Mammals (Mammalia) of the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve Abstract. 19 species of mammals were recorded in the summer of 1994 in the "Meteoryt Morasko" nature reserve in Poznań.
