Nowe informacje o rozmieszczeniu Dianthus gratianopolitanus Vill. w Wielkopolsce
New data on the distribution of Dianthus gratianopolitanuus Vill. in Wielkopolska

Abstract: A significant decline of the population of Dianthus Dianthus gratianopolitanus Vill. has been observed in Poland. This endangered species is legally protected in Poland, it has been also included in the Polish Red Book of Plants (category VU) and in the national and local Red Lists (category E). This paper presents the results of verification of the species localities near Śrem and Międzyrzecz. After more than 40 years, the presence of cheddar pink at the Przydrożne Lake (Pszczew commune) was observed. Another site of this rare species was found next to the Piecniewo Lake. The habitat conditions at these localities are briefly described.

Synantropizacja flory i roślinności torfowiska przejściowego pod wpływem urbanizacji na przykładzie rezerwatu "Żurawiniec" w Poznaniu
Synanthropization of flora and vegetation of transitional peat bog remaining under urban pressure - the "Żurawiniec" Nature Reserve in Poznań
Abstract: The "Żurawiniec" Nature Reserve, situated in the city of Poznań, was investigated in 1998 and 2003, i.e. over 45 years after it was established (1957). The results include lists of recorded taxa of vascular flora, bryophytes, and phytosociological description of plant communities wich all show considerable changes in the plant cover of this area. Real vegetation complexes of the former transitional moor and its vicinity have been also described with the use of the synphytosociological method. The article discusses the scale of the synanthropization of the bog's flora and vegetation which has taken place within ca. 45 years of increasing urban pressure.

Abstract: 21 species of Tardigrada were recorded during studies carried out in the Wielkopolski National Park (WPN) between March and May 2002. Sixteen of them are new to WPN's tardigrade fauna: Echiniscus testudo (Dobre, 1840); Astatumen trinacriae (Arcidiacono, 1962); Diphascon (Adropion) prosirostre Thulin, 1928; Diphascon (Diphascon) nobilei Binda, 1969; Diphascon (Diphascon) pingue (Marcus, 1936); Diphascon (Diphascon) recamieri Richters, 1911; Diphascon (Diphascon) rugosum Bartoš, 1935; Hypsibius convergens Urbanowicz, 1925; Hypsibius pallidus Thulin, 1911; Isohypsibius prosostomus (Thulin, 1928); Isohypsibius sattleri (Richters, 1902); Mesocrista spitsbergense (Richters, 1903); Macrobiotus harmsworthi Murray, 1907; Macrobiotus pallari Maucci, 1954; Macrobiotus polonicus Pilato, Kaczmarek, Michalczyk & Lisi, 2003 and Macrobiotus richtersi Murray, 1911. M. polonicus was also new to science. All five species reported from WPN in the previous studies were confirmed in the present research. A key to determine the species known from WPN is provided. Taxonomical and zoogeographical remarks on these species are also given.

Ważki (Odonata) Parku Krajobrazowego Pojezierza Iławskiego
Dragonflies (Odonata) of the landscape Park of the Iława Lake District
Abstract: 47 dragonfly species were recorded in the years 1998-2002 in the Landscape Park of the Iława Lake District (N Poland). The occurrence of some interestin species, the composition of the fauna and the state of water bioyopes in the park have been analysed. Basing on the collected data the changes in the network of protected areas in the Park have been proposed.

Wiosenny stan entomofauny (Odonata, Heteroptera, Coleoptera) w rzece Warcie i zbiornikach przyrzecznych w Nadwarciańskim Parku Krajobrazowym
Spring state of entomofauna (Odonata, Heteroptera, Coleoptera) in the Warta River and riverine waterbodies

Abstract: The spring state of entomofauna (Odonata, Heteroptera, Coleoptera) of the Warta River and riverine waterbodies is presented. 1503 individuals of 42 species were collected during intensive studies on 7 and 10 May 2003. 7 rheophilous and 1 para-rheophilous species were recorded. The faunistic similarity of communities between the Warta River and riverine waterbodies is presented. Some aspects of biology of Micronecta species are described and their significance as bioindicators is stressed. The lack of some species is a result of predator (fish) pressure.

Stan poznania chruścików (Trichoptera) obszarów chronionych Polski
State of knowledge of caddisflies (Trichoptera) of protected areas in Poland
Abstract: Data concerning caddisfly fauna from protected areas of Poland have been analysed. Trichoptera from 17 national parks, 6 landscape parks and 6 reserves of nature have been described. Some of national parks, the most of landscape parks and all reserves of nature still need to be investigated. Till now, 239 species have been found within all protected areas of Poland (87% of species occurring in Poland). Among 74 threatened species, only 41 were found in protected areas. Probably not all threatened species occur in protected areas in Poland. These species need other form of protection. The results show, that there is a need to investigate the caddisfly fauna in protected areas of Poland.
